The magician shows three dirty, formerly white silks. One has a splodge of paint on it, the second has lipstick marks and the third was probably used to wipe hands after a car repair!

To wash the silks, the magician puts them in a box of washing powder. He pours some liquid into the box and claims that the box with the detergent works as a ‘magic washing machine’.

A moment later, he takes three immaculately white, perfectly clean silk squares out of the box of washing powder.

The magician stands there somewhat awkwardly with the box in his hand and everyone in the audience assumes that the dirty cloths must still be in the box.

After some hesitation, he opens the box completely to show that nothing is hidden inside! The box really is completely taken apart, leaving only a flat piece of cardboard to be shown front and back.

A timeless classic that has the potential to bring a room to the boil. A hit in children's programmes, but also always effective with adults with an appropriate presentation

You will receive:

• One set of clean, one set of dirty silk scarves. These have an edge length of 45 cm, the soiling is permanently printed on so that you can enjoy the set for a long time.
• The gimmick necessary for the effect is made of sturdy plastic.
• We also supply a beautiful detergent box specially made for the effect, which can be opened completely to show it completely empty. The carton can be reused several times, but when it is worn out you can buy replacement cartons.
• an explanation in English.
• The trick jar for pouring the liquid is not included (a classic magic milk glass or a magic jug are perfect additions to this routine, but not necessary to perform the effect). Alternatively, you can simply have the children catch invisible washing powder out of the air and throw it towards the washing powder box.
