Hopping Queen

Here is a great and original version of the three-card Monte for stage and parlour that is very simple and visual! The magician shows an elegant stand with three jumbo cards leaning against it: two black kings of spades and a queen of hearts. Another king of spades is placed in an envelope without manipulation and visibly discarded. The magician now swaps the kings and the queen and asks the audience not to lose sight of the queen. But no matter how hard the audience tries, the queen is always in a different place than suspected. At the end, the unexpected climax: there are suddenly three black kings in the stand, while the queen of hearts is now unexpectedly in the envelope.
